It depends on how you utilize your cork plugs. If you are utilizing them for transport or identifying tubes during re-work, the plugs should be okay to reuse, as long as you keep them clean / dry. Cork is porous and will be contaminated by any liquid it comes into contact with, possibly rendering it unusable for certain applications moving forward.

Simply tap the cork plug into place with a small hammer or rubber mallet until firmly in place.

Cork tube plugs are easily removed with a firm pull on the plug from a pair of pliers.
