Snap It Jr. — Kit Configuration

Because Snap It Jr. covers a range of tube sizes, brush kits include 3–4 brushes per kit. Select the smallest brush that effectively cleans and preps the tube surface.

Snap It Sr. — Exact-Size Brush

Snap It Sr. brushes are provided for the exact tube size ordered, ensuring a precise fit and consistent surface preparation every time.

Tube prep is absolutely critical — proper brushing is the most important step to achieving an optimal seal with your tube plugs.

The hydraulic ram is the simplest, safest, quickest, and easiest way to install Snap It Sr. or Snap It Jr. tube plugs. Compact and lightweight at just 7 lbs, the air-driven pump requires 80–120 lbs of supply air @ 20 CFM and comes in a durable wheeled storage case with everything needed for near-end applications.

For far-end and through-tube applications, simply add the appropriate extension assemblies and a Channel Head Pull Rod Assembly (CHPRA) and follow the through-the-tube instructions.

Pull Rod Assembly

Used with the Hydraulic RAM to install the plug in place. Fully interchangeable with competitor systems and designed to minimize costs by utilizing multiple plug positioners with each pull rod size.

Channel Head Pull Rod Assemblies & Extension Sets

Used to operate the system and install plugs where channel heads are present. Also used in conjunction with extension sets for through-the-tube plugging.

Removal Tools

Designed to quickly remove installed tube plugs without damage to the tube or tube sheet. The plug removal tool removes both the pin and ring in seconds — and if needed, a new plug can be reinstalled in the same location immediately after.

Screw the spear stud into the installed pin.

Use the slide hammer to dislodge the pin.

Screw the spear into the ring, then use the slide hammer to pull out all remaining pieces.
